Groovy, sexy techno is hugely popular at the moment. It’s something I first got into by-way of DJs like Steve Lawler as well as countless FABRIC mixes. Marco Carola’s being one such example.
A few times per year i’ll find an individual DJ/producer that polarizes my interest in certain genres. One of these people is english producer and DJ RESET ROBOT (aka Dave Robertson)
I picked up the collaboration AIR MILES he did with Christian Smith a few months back, and have been buying his individual tunes since then.
My interest was peaked however, when I heard a recording of his STELLAR 2 HOUR mix from OSLO, NORWAY this summer. Like any good UK DJ, he doesn’t go for the throat right away with this mix, using an nifty edit of a Carlo Lio tech-house tune to ease you into it, approaching peak hour volume and groove by the 30 minute mark, but wavering in/out throughout the mix to keep your interest. If you are a fan of techno and house, you’ll love this mix.
